Popular in the theatre and character roles in films Dina Pathak was born on 4 th March, 1922 in Baroda State. She was the president of NIFW and an activist. She had more than 120 films in her whole career and among them the popular ones are Golmaal, Koshish, Khoobsorat etc. she studied from University of Bombay and joined INT and IPTA. Some of her theatre plays are Maina Gurjari, Jasma Odhan etc. she debuted with the gujrati film Kariyawar in 1948. She married Baledv Pathak and has two children. Her last film was Pinjar in 2003. She was nominated three times for Filmfare awards.
